Community Reinvestment Act

The Community Reinvestment Act was enacted by Congress in 1977 to encourage depository institutions to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, consistent with safe and sound banking operations.

Rabobank (formerly Valley Independent Bank in California) holds an “outstanding” CRA rating from their regulating agency for the Bank’s investment, service and lending performance within its largely rural and economically challenged communities.
