Rabobank was founded as a community bank, and we remain committed today to local communities where we do business. Rabobank's local offices and businesses are active supporters of their local community, and we encourage and support our employees' involvement in their own local communities.
Rabobank is committed to fueling growth and economic investment in the areas we serve, and investing resources in our local communities is a high business priority.
Each year, Rabobank employees volunteer at hundreds of community organizations and provide thousands of hours of qualified community development services. Services ranged from fund-raising and financial education in schools and housing centers, to technical services for nonprofit organizations, including financial audits and loan underwriting services.
We believe in the future of American farming, and have been a longtime supporter of FFA programs and FFA students. Rabobank is also a proud sponsor of the FFA's New Century Farmer Program, a week-long elite course that helps prepare young adults for a successful career in production agriculture. Rabobank participates in the New Century Farmer program, sharing our financial expertise with the students to teach them about business planning and financing for farmers.
