Despite historic drought, California farmers recorded record sales in 2014 (In the News)


Feb. 12, 2016 — KSEE TV reports that, despite California's extreme drought, 2014 brought record sales to farmers across the state. This is according to sales figures provided by California's state agriculture department.

At the Central Valley Almond Growers Association hulling and shelling facility, nearly 100 million pounds of almonds were processed last year alone. Almonds are not the only crop experiencing notable success.
