Rabobank analyst says Napa’s vineyard asset bubble not ready to burst (In the News)

Aug. 31, 2017 — Strong global interest is escalating vineyard prices in Napa Valley, but concerns over bursting asset bubbles and plummeting vineyard values are premature, according to Stephen Rannekleiv, global beverages strategist for Rabobank. Rannekleiv told the North Bay Business Journal that vineyard valuations for prime Napa Valley acreage reflect prices paid for the choicest fruit. Similar price inflation is occurring in other high-end winegrowing regions around the state.
