Thanks for your interest in Rabobank in California and our events and activities! We're excited to share what we're doing in local communities with you. However, we want to keep a positive, friendly environment, and we also have regulations we need to follow as well.

Since our social pages are public, anyone can see your posts, and they may even show up in search engines like Google or Bing! While we welcome your participation, occasionally we may have to remove posts that don't fit our guidelines.

If you are a customer with a specific question about a Rabobank account, please log-in to your online banking, call 1-800-942-6222 or visit one of our banking centers to speak with a professional in person.

Our social pages are moderated by Rabobank employees. We'll make every effort to respond in a timely manner; however, we can't guarantee that we'll reply to every comment.

The views and opinions expressed on Rabobank, N.A.'s social media platforms are solely those of the individual employee, original author, or other contributors. The views and opinions do not necessarily represent the views and opinions of Rabobank, N.A. or any of its affiliates or other Rabobank employees.

Comments Policy

Our social pages are moderated to make sure it fits the community expectations. We may delete comments or posts that we believe are abusive, inflammatory, disrespectful or otherwise inappropriate. Here are some communications guidelines:

  • We must insist your communications remain respectful and on-topic.
  • Please do not post profane, obscene, inappropriate, disruptive or unrelated comments, which could include indecent, sexually explicit or pornographic material of any kind — including masked profanity where symbols, initials, intentional misspellings or other characters are used to suggest profane language.
  • Please do not post information you know is untrue. Your comments may not be false, inaccurate, libelous or otherwise misleading in any way.
  • No threats; personal attacks; abusive, defamatory, derogatory, or inflammatory language; or stalking or harassment of any individual, entity or organization.
  • Discriminatory comments, or those that contain hateful speech of any kind toward any group, including age, gender, race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation or disability, are not allowed.
  • No spam comments, which may contain or link to promotional products, items, other pages or sites, or any kind of virus, malware, spyware, or similar program that could cause harm to a user's computer.
  • When commenting, submit your own original content, do not post someone else's copyrighted work unless you have permission.
  • For your safety, please do not post personal, identifying or confidential information, including phone or account numbers or email addresses.
  • Please do not use Rabobank's social pages as a method to communicate with Rabobank except in regard to the topics posted. Please relay any other inquiries, including legal, to us by calling 1-800-942-6222.
  • If you have feedback about our content and are unsure about its appropriateness, feel free to message us privately.

While we welcome reasonable feedback, we may delete negative comments about Rabobank, its partners and/or our competitors not relevant to the conversation or that do not enhance the value of user experience.

We may remove identical posts by the same user or multiple users (a group of people sending identical messages or one person submitting under different aliases). In the case of identical posts, we will leave the first submission and delete the duplicates.

Community Forum Notice

Because our social pages are public pages and anyone can participate, we cannot be responsible for views expressed other than our own.

In addition, we are unable to service bank account-specific requests on our social pages. Assistance with banking and personal accounts is available by calling us at 1-800-942-6222.

Rabobank has a presence on Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Google+ and may occasionally identify and respond to customers seeking assistance with banking-related issues. In the event a customer receives such a communication from the bank regarding a service request or other need, the customer may be offered other Rabobank channels to help address those concerns as smoothly and effectively as possible.

When visiting an official Rabobank social page, you are also subject to the Terms and Conditions of Rabobank's privacy policy and general terms of use, as well as the social site's Terms of Service and privacy policy – which can be accessed here for Facebook and here for Google+. To protect your privacy and the privacy of others, please do not include personally identifiable information such as Social Security numbers, account numbers, phone numbers or e-mail addresses in any comment or post. If you do include personally identifiable information in your comment, your comment or post may be deleted.
