Your Function:

Rabobank, N.A. has an exciting opportunity for a temporary Corporate Security Analyst located in our Santa Maria Operations Center! The Corporate Security Analyst's primary daily tasks will revolve around identity and access management for the business. This will include, but is not limited to user account management, responding to and closing requests for service, verifying user access requests, and managing high priority incident response scenarios.

Responsibilities will include and are not limited to the following:

  • Maintains and updates Business Continuity program documentation with high quality that meets applicable standards.
  • Assist with Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery requirement testing to determine level of adherence and effectiveness.
  • Maps the Business Continuity program requirements to current regulations.
  • Assess business or process requirements, completed research and analysis to determine viable solutions.
  • Monitor and report on compliance to BCP including analyzing, documenting, and disseminating information on process, standards, and initiatives.
  • Performs quality assurance on BCP activities.
  • Maintain the Emergency Evacuation Program.
  • Assist with the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for the business units.
  • Create and update both department and bank wide procedures.
  • Maintains and updates business impact analysis and Risk Assessments.
  • Conducts review and evaluation of the plans.
  • Coordinates and assists with business continuity and disaster recovery exercises. Assists with development of table top exercises, coordinate the exercise with the operational business units, and participates in the testing exercise. Assists with the development and execution of the annual business continuity and disaster tests.
  • Supports the development of business continuity training and awareness sessions with business units. Conducts training sessions as assigned.
  • Assists with implementation and maintenance of security software and spreadsheet.
  • Maintains accurate accounting of security equipment inventory.
  • Gathers and tracks information related to certification and security incidents.
  • Logs and tracks support calls and creates monthly summary reports for all calls.
  • Monitor and process consumer and commercial online activity alerts.
  • Create and update both department and bank wide procedures.
  • Monitor and manage the functional mailbox.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Your Profile:

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year experience in an operational or related position, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bank operations and banking regulations in related functional area.
  • Must be fully cross trained in applicable operations processes.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, including word processing and spreadsheet software programs required.
  • Strong PC related skills. Minimum requirement is demonstrated competency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Visio, MS Access, and SQL preferred.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to function in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to analyze business problems and opportunities and provide effective solutions.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills, detail oriented and ability to probe and get closure on issues promptly. 
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of information security, including control and risk management concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to probe sensitive issues while maintaining the highest level of integrity and objectivity.
